Disney Day 4 - Hollywood Studios

After we left Animal Kingdom we had no real plans for the rest of the day.  Joe had been
asking to see Buzz Lightyear when we were at Hollywood Studios on Monday, but the line
was too long, so we decided to give it a try today.  Since it was something he was
specifically asking to do, I wanted to make it happen for him.

Taking the bus all the way back to our hotel and then turning around and taking another to
Hollywood Studios seemed like a waste.  It is times like this, among countless others, that I
am really thankful for Sarah's Disney knowledge.  She had told me that you can walk from
the Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios, so we decided to try it.  We took the bus from Animal Kingdom to Boardwalk Inn and then navigated our way to Hollywood Studios.  It was fairly
simple, and saved us so much time!  More importantly Joe got to see Buzz and Woody!!

We were also able to see the Indiana Jones stunt show before leaving
Hollywood Studios and walking back towards the boardwalk area.

So far I've loved having a little more flexibility in the evenings by not having dinner
reservations, but tonight it backfired a little bit.  It's hard to be spontaneous at Disney when it
comes to meals because you can't get in anywhere.  We walked to the boardwalk area and
wanted to eat at Beaches and Cream because of the huge Kitchen Sink ice cream sundae.
The wait was upwards of 2 hours.  We walked over to Epcot and tried the restaurant inside
the pyramid in Mexico, but they also had nothing available for walk ins.  Everyone was
hungry and tired so we settled on dinner at Captain Cook's in our hotel.  It wasn't
anything amazing, but at that point we were just happy to have food.

It was a long day, but still a magical one.  I'm sad we only have one more day here.
