Meet Adalyn Grace

While we were in Wausau over Christmas, Hannah had her baby.  What perfect timing! She
had been feeling like she was going to go early, but ended up making it to her scheduled
induction date.  Though I'm sure for comfort reasons she would have loved to go early, it
worked out great because Hannah got to be with us for all of the Christmas festivities and
then we all got to be there for hers. :)  Introducing...Miss Adalyn Grace Smith.

Christmas at Grandpa Jim's

Our final Christmas celebration was at Grandpa Jim's.  Snacks, wine, playing out in the snow, opening presents in underwear because pants were wet from playing in said snow, wrestling match with Grandpa...everything you'd expect at a family Christmas gathering. :)

We are truly blessed to have so many amazing people to spend the holidays with.
Merry Christmas indeed!

Christmas at Grandma's

As soon as we open our presents on Christmas morning we pack up all our stuff and get in
the car to head to Grandma's.  The roads are normally pretty empty and Starbucks stays
open on Christmas Day, both which make for a nice drive.

Once everyone makes it to Grandma's, the gift opening craziness begins again.  Too many more grandkids and we're going to have to knock down a wall to fit in all the gifts. ;)

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for not only the gifts, but more importantly for creating a home that we always look forward to visiting and always get sad to leave.  We love you!!

Christmas Morning

One of the benefits of staying in IL for Christmas Eve is we get to wake up in our house on
Christmas morning.  The kids go to sleep with an empty tree, so it's always fun to watch
their reaction as they walk down the stairs in the morning to find it loaded with presents.

Merry Christmas little buddies!!  Hope Santa brought you just what you were hoping for.
