Yesterday we got our Christmas tree.
We geared ourselves up, loaded the boys in the car, and made the long snow-filled trek.....
to our local Costco where they have an amazing deal on Frasier Fir trees. ;)
I've always wanted to cut down our own tree, and there will be a day in our future when that
happens, but with a baby in tow, I'm happy driving right up to the big tractor trailer full of
trees in the Costco parking lot. Great selection, great price,
and I barely have to leave the warmth of my car.
We let the branches settle for a night, then the boys got busy decorating it.
They put the lights on,
took a brief wrestling break while Ryan finished the top of the tree,
then started on the ornaments.
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in the Kalita house.
