This year we decided to get our Christmas tree from Costco. They were only $27.99
for an 8 foot Frasier Fir. How could we pass up that deal??
The only problem is the trees are wrapped up, so you buy them without having a chance to see
what the actual tree looks like. We figured with that kind of deal, we'd take our chances.
How bad can a Christmas tree really be after all?
Problem #1 - The tree was frozen in the wrapped position, so even after we removed all the
twine, this is what remained in our living room.
After we gave it a day to thaw out we ran into our next dilemma.
Problem #2 - It is definitely true that you get more for your money at Costco. This was the
biggest, widest 8 foot tree I've ever seen. It took up nearly a quarter of our living room,
and the branches hadn't even fully dropped yet. Just compare it to the size of the
entertainment center and tv. It was HUGE!!
But after I gave it a much needed haircut, and Owen and Ryan decorated it,
I'd say it turned into quite a nice looking tree. :)
