Today was the annual Cookie Walk at the boys' school.
With two kids at Pilgrim this year I was responsible for making 12 dozen cookies. It sounds
like a lot, but I love baking and it actually goes pretty fast. Plus it's totally worth it because the kids have so much fun with it. Imagine being a 3 or 4 year old and walking into a room with tables and tables of cookies to choose from. Heck, I'm 35 and I get excited.
The boys had soccer this morning so we had to make sure we were at Pilgrim right when
the doors opened. We got there early which worked out well because we were the very first
people in line. We passed the time eyeing all the cookies from afar and taking advantage
of the winter themed photo booth they had set up.
Then when the time came, the boys walked through and had first pick of all of the cookies.
Ryan and I picked a few of our favorites as well. ;)
Not only were we lucky enough to score the first choice of cookies, but we won one of the
raffle prizes. A HUGE basket of art supplies. It is awesome!! I know what will be
keeping Owen and Joe busy while we're stuck inside all winter.
Thank you Pilgrim for another memorable Cookie Walk!
