We had a bit of a traumatic start to our morning today. While we were upstairs getting
dressed for the day, Miles tripped and hit his head on the boys' dresser drawer. Even
though he can walk and even run like a champ, he's still a little wobbly at times.
Unfortunately this morning was one of those times. I heard him fall and start crying so I
went in thinking a hug would make everything better. That's when I saw the blood and the
giant cut and realized it was going to take a lot more than a hug to fix this boo boo.
Thankfully with the help of a few friends who got the older boys to school, and a visit to
urgent care, everything was calm again. Since the cut was pretty straight and not too deep,
they were able to close it with glue instead of stitches. Way less traumatic of a process for
both Miles and I, so we were happy. It was still a pretty rough morning though,
so we were excited to get out of there and go watch Owen's Fun Run.
