Apple Picking

Yay!!  It's apple picking time!!  I look forward to this day all year!!  Not only is it super fun, but it's one of my favorite places to take pictures.  They always turn out so cute and capture our day perfectly.  So get comfortable, because as always, I took a lot.
These are just a few of my favorites.

The one low point of the day was when Miles got stung by a bee.  He was sitting on the
ground looking really cute, so I was taking pictures of him.  He grabbed an apple that was
laying beside him and started playing with it.  All of a sudden I noticed there was a bee on
the apple.  I tried to jump over and shoo it away, but he grabbed the bee before I could get
to him.  It stung him right on his thumb.  I've been stung before and know how much it hurts
so my heart broke for him.  He cried for a little while, but then calmed down.  I could tell it
was hurting him though because he was timid when he was grabbing apples and he was in
a somber mood for the rest of the morning.

Thankfully we were able to cheer him up and got a few smiles out of him.

And no trip to the apple orchard is complete without a ride on the moo choo train,
and a visit to the boys' favorite, Peter the pumpkin eating dinosaur.

Once again, the apple orchard did not disappoint.  We had a great time and in my humble opinion got some great photos that we can look back on for years to come.
