Happy Father's Day!!

Yay!!  Happy Father's Day Ryan!!  There is so much about Ryan that makes him special and
makes us love him as much as we do.  From my perspective, he is so caring, loving, fun,
thoughtful, helpful, and overall a great partner.  And from the kid's perspective, he is so
much fun to be around.  Wrestling, having endless squirt gun fights, reading stories, having
movie nights...the list goes on and on.  I think the biggest testament to his character is how
he chose to spend his special day.  Out of all the things in the world he could do,
he chose to do something that he knew would be fun for the kids.

He may have thought twice about his decision as we sat at the breakfast table,
(I post this picture because Owen looks at it now and thinks it's hilarious)

but overall we had a great day!  We started at the Jurassic World exhibit at the Field
Museum.  The boys LOVE dinosaurs, so you can only imagine how cool this was for them.

Then we scoped out the rest of the museum, which surprisingly had a lot more dinosaurs.

Then instead of calling it a day after breakfast and the museum, Ryan suggested we go for
a ride on the pirate ship at Navy Pier.  How cool of a dad is he??  So we went and
grabbed some lunch, then set sail at 3PM.

After the boat ride we ordered pizza from Peaquod's to take home for dinner and we called
it a day.  It was a long, fun-filled day and even with the occasional crabby kid moments
we had an amazing time.  Joe is already asking to go back to see the dinosaurs.

Happy Father's Day Ryan!!
Thank you for being the best dad I could ever imagine for our kids.
I hope you felt as special today as you make us feel every day.
