Tonight was the boys' first alley party. The last one we had was 5 years ago and Owen was just a baby. This time they would really get to enjoy the experience. And what an experience it is! When we have an alley party, Jerry goes all out. He saves huge pieces of carpet from the shows he takes down and uses them to carpet the alley. Then he had a band come to play music and even had a bounce house. I knew the boys would love it!
First order of business...vacuuming!
The carpet was awesome! It made the alley like one big living room floor. The boys took
their shoes off and made themselves at home. They wrestled, played with trucks,
and eventually found a spot right in front of the band to eat dinner.
It was such a fun night and we are so fortunate to live by such awesome people.
