Despite the chilly temperatures, we decided to take the boys to the St. Patty's Day parade in
Forest park for a little fun. I stopped at the Dollar Store to get us some festive accessories,
and we were on our way.
When we walked up to Madison Street, we noticed the sunny side of the street was packed
with people, while the shady side was nearly empty! We didn't mind the cold so we stayed
in the shade. The boys had their own little pocket where no other kids were nearby, so
nearly every person with candy stopped and put some in their bags. Score!
Midway through the parade the cold started to set in, and the boys were ready to leave.
They didn't mind because they already had plenty of candy, and Ryan and I didn't mind
because it means we got out of there before all of the crazy traffic.
