We drove up to Wausau this weekend to hang out. It wasn't a holiday, there was nothing
special going on...we just love spending time with the people we love.
Plus, the boys change so much within their first year, so I want to be able to visit often
so everyone can see the many changes in Miles.
We did some of the usual things...Saturday morning breakfast at TriCity and spent a lot of
time hanging out in Grandma's room watching Lifetime movies
(Miles was fascinated by the leftover balloons Owen's birthday last month).
We also went to a few of our new favorite places. We met my dad and Sharon at Sconnie's
for lunch, then took the kids to W.O.W. for dinner. They have so much fun playing all of the
games. We spent $40 on tokens and walked out with a small orange dinosaur,
a Hot Wheels car, and a big rubber ball to play with outside.
Not the greatest return on investment, but well worth it!!
And it ain't a party at Grandma's until someone gets naked. In this case, Ellie and Joe.
This is starting to become a trend. We think they're upstairs playing nicely, go up to check
on them and they're running around naked. I mean really, who doesn't have fun
running around the house naked?
The weekend flew by, but it was great to be able to see everyone.
Our plan is to go back for Easter....4 weeks and counting.
