There are lots of little moments in life that I would always like to remember. My memory
isn't the greatest at times, so I do my best to take pictures and videos whenever I can to capture these moments. But when I was putting Joe to bed tonight I was reminded of
one of my all time favorite things that a picture can't do justice...baby snuggles.
The smell of jammies freshly laundered in Dreft (yes, I love Dreft and still use it for all my
kids clothes). The smell of a clean baby just out of his nightly bath. The warmth of his head
against the side of my cheek. The feeling of his tiny arms draped over my shoulders and his
little legs wrapped around my waist. The sound of his breath mixed with the familiar sound of him sucking his thumb. I can get lost in that moment and stand there forever.
I've witnessed how fast kids grow up, so tonight I am very thankful for my baby snuggles.
And of course a baby whose favorite thing is cuddling with his mama.
