Don't let this smile fool you...this little guy is not yet a huge fan of solids.
So far we've tried sweet potatoes, avocado and pears. I give him a spoonful and he sits
there with his mouth wide open refusing to close it, or even swallow. The food makes him
salivate and before long the drool starts pouring out of his mouth. Still, he has no interest in
trying to get the food down. I eventually wipe the drool off his chin and try again.
The one thing he loves are Baby Mum-Mums. He'd eat those things all day long if he
could. He's always trying to chew on any and everything, so these are great for him. As
soon as he sees them his eyes get really wide, his mouth opens, he starts breathing faster
and his little arms and legs flail about in excitement. He gets so excited that as I hand it to
him he'll grab it so hard that the thing snaps right in half. Hopefully this excitement carries
over to the pureed food I keep trying to feed him. ;)
