Splash Pad Fun

One of the many reasons we are so happy the weather started getting warmer is because
that means the splash pads are turned on.  The boys love them!  Miles got his first taste
today and did great.  He explored a little and most importantly didn't mind getting wet.
I have a feeling he's going to love the water just as much as his big brothers.

Super Heroes

Our Fridays are typically reserved for Jimmy John's lunch dates with my neighbor Rachel

and her son Asher.  The kids get a chance to play, Rachel and I catch up, and we ALWAYS

get Jimmy John's.  It's become somewhat of a tradition.  And when you're having fun like

this, why would you ever want to quit?

Secret Hideout

Owen and Joe spent the morning making a secret hideout.  

Watching them work together and play nicely is always a great start to my morning.

 

Goodbye Gymnastics

Owen has been in gymnastics for the past few years.  He's had a lot of fun with it and it was
beneficial for his balance, strength, listening skills, etc.  He also became very independent
and by the end wanted me to drop him off and then wait for him in the parking lot when it
was time to pick him up.  He instructed me not to come in because he wanted to walk out
on his own.  It was really cute and felt good to give him some responsibility.

But with kindergarten starting in the fall, we decided to take a pass on gymnastics going
forward.  I've heard full day kindergarten can be quite an adjustment for these little guys.
Especially with Owen still napping in the afternoon right now...going to school all day, then
trying to follow it up with gymnastics didn't seem like the best plan.  So here is
Owen giving his final gymnastics salute!  Way to go Owen!!

Wheeeeee!!

Swinging is way more fun when you have a big brother to push you.

Joe LOVES the swings and would have been enjoying the fun right along Miles and Owen,

but I attempted to skip his nap this afternoon.  We walked to the park, which is roughly 4 blocks from our house, and this is what I found when we got there.

That's OK Joe.  I'd be napping right along with you if I could.

Munchkin Buddies

Today we got together with Joe's Munchkin buddies.  It's been over a year since they were in class together, and we all go to different preschools now, but we still love

getting together and hanging out when we can.

 

I think it's safe to say the mamas enjoy out play dates as much as the kids do.

And So It Begins...
