Saturday Morning Photo Shoot

We decided to start our Saturday morning off with a little tummy time.

And since the sunlight coming in the window gave the perfect lighting,

Ryan decided to give Owen his own little photo shoot.  

You get cuter and cuter every day little buddy.  

 

Just In Case You Were Wondering...

Yes,

It was just a fluke.

 

Last night we were back to our same old routine.  

Bed at 6:30 PM,

Up to Eat at 12:30 AM,

Up to eat again around 6:00 AM, 

And finally up for the day around 8:00 AM. 

 

Ryan helps out a lot by taking on the 6:00 AM feeding. 
That way he gets some extra QT with Owen before work, 

and I get some extra ZZ's.  :)

The day will come when you sleep through the night Little Owen, 

but for now I'm ok with our little midnight visits.  

Five Sweet Words

Owen. Slept. Through. The. Night

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I realize as I'm writing this that it may have just been a fluke

and tonight we will be back to our old schedule,

but as for today...

I feel like a new woman!!  

Owen slept a little over 10 hours straight,

which means this girl got 6 consecutive hours of sleep!!

He slept from 6:30 PM - 4:50 AM,

got up to eat,

then went back to bed and woke up for the day at 7:30 AM.

Dear sweet, cute, cuddly little Owen,

Please let this be your new routine.  :)

Backyard Fun

The weather was PERFECT today

so we decided to take full advantage of the nice warm air

and relax out in the backyard.  

Owen seemed to love laying outside and looking up into the sky, 

looking around to check out his surroundings, 

And even Marley decided to come and join us for some fun in the backyard.

 

Practice, Practice, Practice

Dressed appropriately in his super hero outfit,

Owen decided to take on one of the challenges that face a 5 1/2 month old little boy....

We practiced....

and practiced....

and practiced.

And when he had enough he simply looked up at me as if to say,

"Mom, do we have to keep practicing?  Can't we just cuddle??"  :)

Now how can I say no to a face like that??

 

The New Throne

Guess who's new high chair was delivered today??

I decided to give it a trial run in it before I actually start

feeding him in it.  

  

The chair passed with flying colors.  Owen seems to be 

very happy with his new throne.   

Celebrating with the Bride-to-Be

This weekend we went home to Wausau to visit

and more importantly celebrate with Hannah at her bridal shower.  

Little did we know we'd be celebrating the fact that she passed

her nursing boards too!!  YAY HANNAH!!

As you can see from the pictures....

It was just another

completely normal

weekend in Wausau.

Owen seemed to fit right in.  :)

We are so thankful to have such a great family, crazy and all,

and love when we get to spend time together.
