Our backyard is not all that big. Admittedly, if we were ever to move, that would be one of the first things I would be looking for is more outdoor space. But today we managed to pack our tiny space full of outdoor fun!
It started with the batting net. Owen and Joe both started t-ball a few weeks ago and Ryan wanted to buy them a net to be able to practice hitting into. They both hit a little off the tee and then Ryan pitched a few to Owen. He did really well! Truth be told, I even hit a few myself. I was having fun right up until I missed the net and hit one clear over our garage, over the alley and into the neighbor's yard. I decided it was best I took a break after that. It was a great purchase though, because it really is a lot of fun.
The next new addition was the bounce house. A few of our friend's have them and it seemed like such a great idea. Easy to put up and take down and so much energy to be spent jumping!! I finally bit the bullet and bought our own. With only 6 weeks left of school, we need things to keep us busy this summer. ;)
